1. High Upfront Cost. Things 3 is one of the more expensive one-off applications. If you were to download it on all your Apple devices (iPad, iPhone and macOS) it'll set you back shy of $80. One of the benefits of this is that you only have to pay one-off costs, but for some people this is a big investment upfront.The first thing I noticed when using Things for iOS, and the iPad Pro in particular, is that the app and how you use it is almost the same as on the the desktop. This is huge, since it has been a major pain point in the past with OmniFocus, where I have refrained from doing certain things on iOS and deferring them to when I'm on the Mac.For every Things project I create I also create a note and link between the two.
