Assassin kha is honestly not in a great state rn and I would only play the bruiser style with maybe a youmuus or duskblade when I can snowball early on. For example, Nashor's Tooth and Cosmic Drive both got changed in Season 13. Bruiserplaystyle is absolutely viable, but it is a lot less popular. Upcoming patch is also buffing Black Cleaver which Bruiser Kha absolutely LOVES, however more generally a lot of AH is getting removed from Bruiser items which was pretty important for him. Hard to tell whether the item changes kill him or end up making him stronger.

Good evolution for bruiser Kha'Zix and in general makes you very slippery in fights. You can swap W for E evolve if you are strong! To end this loong segment i want to make clear that there is no definite evolution path. You need to choose depending on what you need and this is one of the things you need to learn. Into tanks or bruisers build eclipse. Take Q evolve almost always since one rotation wont burst them back to the void, W evo if behind. If you’ve lost lane prio, farm or look for ganks on almost any target before large item spikes. Into vi and other tanks I still take elec/DH/HOB generally, but build eclipse rather than DB with standard Q-E ... I think when it comes to Kha his evos really are completely situational which is one of my favorite parts about him. In general, if I’m looking to do some cheeky invade and snowball I’ll take Q, if I’m playing for ganks I’ll take R and if I’m playing it safe or playing utility for the team I’ll take W. E is the only evo that isn’t viable for first evo imo.But I feel like he is stronger than before aswell, so I have asked myself why every1 feels like that and I came to the conclusion that (I think) most of the other jungle assassin/bruiser champs got nerfed due to item changes and Kha is one of the few champs who neither got buffed or nerfed from the item changes.On a side note, bruiser Kha means going classic AD items (Eclipse/Gore, BC, DD, Maw, Chempunk, etc.). What Agurin does is get Gore, BC, and FROZEN HEART+SPIRIT VISAGE. Thats a tank Kha, and easily wears down ANYBODY in a drawn out engage, unless hes heavily behind, but even if he is, thanks to the tank item stats he can stall the fight long ... Build will always be situational but generally assassin into squishies and bruiser against tanks or play like me and eclipse into everything because a shield, some lifesteal, %hp magic dmg, and armor pen are all amazing things to add to an already good kit.I agree thats a shift in playstyle and the feel of a champ, but reliability is what wins the game and assassin kha counts on enemy unreliability to be reliable. That is why its a better item on bruiser kha than assassin.
