Let’s say you get an A in a class at Cap (85-89%). UBC looks at that A and counts it as the minimum possible percentage grade, 85, when considering you for second-year placement. I assume the same happens at KPU, Langara, etc. and that this is the penalty for transfer students. You need to calculate a weighted GPA based on your percent grade in each course.
